Current NYC rule
NYC virtual ceremonies are not available
NYC still uses Project Cupid for appointments, but the City Clerk says marriage ceremonies are in person and virtual ceremonies are no longer offered.
NYC Online Marriage
A fully remote path for couples in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island who want a legal marriage ceremony without a City Hall appointment.

Current NYC rule
NYC still uses Project Cupid for appointments, but the City Clerk says marriage ceremonies are in person and virtual ceremonies are no longer offered.
Our path
Utah County supports online license applications and remote appearance ceremonies hosted by an officiant in Utah.
Local fit
Partners, witnesses, and guests can join by video, which helps couples dealing with borough logistics, travel, work shifts, or family abroad.
Why NYC couples use it
This site is focused on one job: helping New York City couples understand and complete a legal online marriage ceremony.
Skip the trip to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, or Staten Island City Clerk offices for the ceremony itself.
Useful when one partner is in NYC and the other is traveling, deployed, abroad, or simply not in the same borough.
Your ceremony is performed by an officiant authorized for the Utah process, with the required witnesses handled clearly.
After the ceremony is finalized, the marriage record is issued through the government system that records the marriage.
Designed for couples of every orientation, background, immigration status, religion, and ceremony style.
We explain the difference between Project Cupid, NYC marriage licenses, and the Utah online marriage path.
Process
The core path is simple. The important part is using the right jurisdiction for a fully remote ceremony.
Book a ceremony time
Choose a video ceremony time that fits your schedule, whether you are in NYC or somewhere else.
Complete the online license process
We guide you through the Utah license steps and help you avoid mixing it up with NYC Project Cupid.
Join live by video
Meet with your officiant and witnesses in real time, say your vows, and finalize the ceremony.
Use your certificate
Receive your official record for name changes, benefits, taxes, and other ordinary marriage uses.

Five borough focus
The service is remote, but the content and customer path are written for the way NYC couples actually search, compare options, and make decisions.

Source-based guidance
We are not NYC Project Cupid and we do not issue New York marriage licenses. NYC's own public guidance says City Clerk ceremonies are in person and virtual ceremonies are no longer available.
New York Online Weddings helps couples use a separate Utah online marriage path. Utah County says its marriage application can be completed online, that Utah has no residency or citizenship requirement for licenses, and that remote appearance ceremonies are hosted from Utah by the officiant.
